Annemie Hamilton is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, nationally accredited mediator, and counsellor with more than ten years of experience supporting individuals, children, and families through separation, conflict, and significant life transitions.

Annemie has worked across private practice, not-for-profit organisations, and community-based settings, providing mediation, counselling, child consultancy, and reunification support. Her work is grounded in a strong understanding of family dynamics, child development, trauma-informed practice, and the emotional complexities that often arise during family conflict. She is particularly passionate about ensuring children’s voices are heard in a safe, developmentally appropriate, and respectful way throughout the mediation process.

Alongside her professional experience, Annemie brings significant lived experience, including navigating immigration challenges, family breakdown, grief and loss, and personal adversity. These experiences have shaped her compassionate and down-to-earth approach, allowing her to connect with clients with empathy, authenticity, and understanding.

Susan has over 20 years' experience as a lawyer, mediator and family dispute resolution practitioner. She was a coach at The College of Law, a supervisor at Bond University in their Family Mediation courses, and serves as an Associate with the Medical Mediation Foundation.

 

Her commercial litigation background sharpens her ability to identify underlying legal and technical issues. Drawing on years working in the Far East, she combines practical wisdom with common-sense problem-solving to help parties move forward towards fair, sensible outcomes.

 

Susan creates a calm, empathetic, safe space where people can be heard and work toward resolution, understanding that conflict is inherently stressful. She believes in cutting through complexity to find straightforward paths forward, so people can resolve their disputes and move on with their lives.

William has worked as a teacher, community worker, mediator and solicitor, but throughout his career one thing has remained a constant - a commitment to helping people navigate difficult situations and find a constructive way forward. 

 

With more than 20 years' experience in mediation and family dispute resolution, William is known for his calm, practical and balanced approach, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. 

 

Since becoming a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner in 2009, he has worked extensively with separated parents, grandparents, and extended family members to develop child-focused parenting arrangements. 

William's experience includes work with Family Relationship Centres, Legal Aid NSW, private practice and Aboriginal community organisations. His mediation style is relational, collaborative and outcome focused. 

When he's not dealing with the serious side of life, William likes to surf, play volleyball, and write and perform in amateur comedy.
